FINALLY got this blasted laptop working!!!

Got home this afternoon with my daughter in law and her eleven year old twins. They're great kids, and I enjoyed being with them a whole lot.

Meeting some incredibly nice people was one consolation in this thing and I kid you not, the nurses and aides who took care of me did an outstanding job.

Well, its late and I am worn to a frazzle so I'll turn in.

Just opened a package from Amazon that arrived the day after my heart attack. It contained the complete works of Poe and Lovecraft.

My grandson likes treasure stories so I went to the library here in town and copied Poe's The Gold Bug for him. Getting through Poe's ponderous style (Lovecraft is even worse!) is a bit of a chore sometims but the underlying story is worth it.
