Some thing I've been sitting on for a while, my miss matching Mauser k98. I love the look of the dark wood, that along with the straight bolt add an interested look to her. She was imported, and marked with "Mod 98" on the side, but shes got plenty of German eagles on her. Anyone else noticing there aren't many around anymore? I used to see them a lot, but now when I do I see them for over a thousand, when they we're just 500 not even 4 years ago. My local gun store (Sooner Guns, great place) used to sell them all the time, but they just got rid of their last not too long ago. Probably worth sitting on her, especially as we see fewer and fewer in the market, but honestly i might try to get rid of her in favor of buying a Garand down the road before those skyrocket in price, we'll see. Anyone know of amy gun stores around the Tulsa area that still have these old beauties?
