I could not follow a book at all even in literature class in high school.
I CAN'T remember peoples names!
I can remember a face during a movie.
I can't tell you who they are in real life though, not many of them anyway.

My brain just does not retain useless information.

I can tell you what car my friends drove in high school in the 80's and what cam and engine and even the tire and rim size.
I know where many of them lived but do not know the name of the street.

The movies are 100% better for me than a book.
If there are 3 characters in a book I may be able to follow it.
But I would rather read Popular Science or something along those lines.

Nothing against you guys that retain names and like reading books.

The right way to make a new Ghostbusters. No re-imagining the original just to use different sexes or race, just make a good sequel with a plausible hand off.

That actually looks good and it’s something I’m looking forward to seeing. I agree a lot of remix suck but another sequel with today’s special effects probably be something awesome

I grew up watching "Dune" and loving it. I tried reading the Frank Herbert novels and just couldn't get into them. Probably because I was trying to visualize the movie and that didn't work. I am excited for the new movie though.

Supposedly the new Ghostbusters sequel takes place in Oklahoma but was totally filmed in Canada, eh.
