I don’t have that much faith in the gov’t ability to keep track of that information. You’re right I’ve heard that US Citizens own anywhere between 300-600 million firearms. So, they may have a billion 4473s, but that doesn’t mean they have a billion firearms in a database.  Plus, I can’t imagine how many times some of those firearms have changed hands, been destroyed, people have moved, etc.</p></blockquote><p></p>
