If you were to go to the new truck dealer of your choice and pick out a new, priced like your first house, truck does not mean you will make the trip without problems. I knew a wrecker company owner who worked for several of the  local dealers and he was always dragging in new very low miles trucks that broke down or blew up. Reliability of a well maintained vehicle is good and the truck has already established a known pattern of being reliable. I would not have any issues driving anywhere with it.
