I was wondering what everyone's opinion was on this. Having gold or silver OR and the same investment in stored ammunition. Afterall the value of even a single 22LR round may feed you and your family for a week in a SHTF/TEOTWAWKI situation. Gold and silver may have absolutly no value directly following a collapse when people realise that they can not get any nutrition from the precious metals. Most people, myself included, would have absolutly no way to determine the monitary value of a shard of gold when trading for food or other needed items. I am sure that as the situation improves the monitary value of precious metals will increase. Just a topic for discussion is all. CHEERS.
