Well.... After sitting in the bottoms this morning, immersed in fog and surrounded by turkeys I have deduced that the deer are at the least MIA and at the worst have gone elsewhere to visit relatives for Christmas...
I told my wife. The woods are beautiful today. Boring as crap with no movement, but beautiful.

Hunted yesterday morning then checked cameras. I have a few does coming into my feeder, but that was it between 3 cameras over 2 weeks.
Did some scouting in the afternoon and found a rub line of 40+ trees over 200 yards tore up. I sat for the last hour of daylight in the area but didn't see anything. Staying mobile but not having any luck.

When it’s dead calm like this morning, you typically won’t see a lot of movement. Get a little wind, and they start moving around.
