Goodbye Jasper

Our mini dachshund passed today. He was a rescue dog 14 years ago.
He had been having some type of siezures the last two weeks.
I’ll miss him.

Poor Jasper. I had Dachshunds growing up. They are special dogs.

I disagree that this is in the "Stupid Stuff" forum. This is definitely not that, dogs are family to a lot of us. Sorry about your guy, yet 14 is a good life for a dog.

Sorry man, it’s tough. Hang in there. I was just talking literally 15 minutes ago with the friend I hunted with. The death of our bird dogs got us emotional and it’s been years

I'm sorry to hear it. We have a 13 year old female and she's had a few siezures over the years. Tough to watch. She's more energetic now than when she was a pup. Hard headed and gets me cuss fit mad a few times a week, but I love that little doggie to death.
