Got a garand!

After several years I finally got another M1 garand. This is the third H&R I have owned. It's a 5.5 mil and in pretty good shape. I didn't get it from the CMP but it probably originally came from there. I can't wait to shoot it.

Last time I was at Big Boys they had one in there you could try out.

I'm at Big Boys often but I've always just used my own firearms...I never thought of renting one of theirs....thanks for the idea

They used used to have something like 10 rounds for $10.00. Not a bad deal to try out a Garand.

That looks like a nice one. I've had a late Springfield for several years but never fired it.
