Meets IDPA power factor, the slowest speed for a 124gr bullet is 1009 so i'm well within "legal"

Did you use any sort of cover other than the screens that come with it and were you out in the sun when you took your readings?

I ask because I have a Shooting Chrony F1 and have been mostly disappointed with it's results in the sun. I have to put a piece of white foamcore over the rods to provide shade for the eyes for it to work correctly.

I used the diffuser plastic attachments that came with it. It says you DONT have to use them when in the shade, but I tried it without them under my carport (shooting into a berm) and it wasnt reading. So I put the diffusers on that came with it and its been 100% so far. Yes I did move out to full sunshine but I found I needed the diffusers even in shade.

I have both Pact and Chrony machines and they all work better with the diffusers on. You can change the direction you are shooting to get the sun at the right angle and make it
work some of the time, but at a rnage, thats hard to do. I like the chrony better than I do the Pact. blitzfike
