Thats the **** that burns me up. On both sides of me,behind me,and across the street to the left we all own,all know each other, and we all socialize. A house right across the street to the right we had good neighbors but they moved and now they rent it out and weve had some good, some weird, some bad,and now some ok renters. We have the owners number as we are still friendly and the new renters usually have to be 'reminded' to mow their lawn, but thats about it. Theyre into bikes and working on cars like me so we talk and share a beer here and there. I converted my garage to a studio/rehearsal space where my band has small practices some times if we're not at our regular space rehearsing and theyve been as cool as all of the other neighbors with it. The last renters though were like me latenighters but they also had some real hardcore looking people in and out at all hours of the day and night doing who knows what- you know, those quickie in'n'out visits with different people all the time. Some real social butterflys. I'm sure they were dealing. They had to be reminded to mow, pick up their trash, keep their pits in the yard, etc. The land lords, friends of ours, finally evicted them. I asked them why they didnt screen their people better and was told that in a small town outside a big town you take what you can get in there to pay the mortgage, and I understand as I own rental property in California. I dont have to like it though...
