There have always been things to become addicted to and the weed proponents will argue all day long about the alleged benefits. It would be amusing to watch a polling place and see all of the fine Oklahomans voting for the 2nd time in their lives for recreational weed. Facts are both drug addiction and alcoholism are ruining the lives of many people. Let’s make drugs and alcohol as easy to get as possible. Might as well make prostitution legal while we are at it. Morality is at an all time low and sinking.

I would think the higher our morality, the less need for the government to intervene because we are capable of holding ourselves accountable. Same with people that require the fear of hell to do the right thing.

I can't disagree that something feels really broken in society these days, but I dont think drugs or alcohol are the proper root cause.

I think it’s morally wrong. I realize that it’s uncommon in todays world for people to have morals and integrity but I try.

I think a general decline in morality, weak parentlng, and lack of self discipline among many people is the cause. It’s much easier to live a life of indulgence and there is little to no consequence for it.

I think social media is a cause as well. Some people who are ignored by society in general can post stupid stuff online and consider themselves relevant. For example, all the loser’s manifestos and live streams of their pathetic lives. The trial right now of the racist killer who drove his car through the Christmas crowd is a prime example. I was hoping he would get killed by another inmate before trial. He’s been a degenerate waste of oxygen his entire life and the criminal justice system failed his victims.

I hate smelling that crap when I'm running, I don't partake in it or alcohol, but it'll be fun to listen to my "conservative" relatives whine about it after it passes. I remember well an LEO in-law that scoffed at the idea of medical mj getting passed. He hasn't mentioned it since. I'll be sure to bring it up next month at Thanksgiving lol.

This has been a really fun election cycle, it's been incredibly enjoyable to listen to all the hypocrisy as we learn how freedom and liberty is very far from the agenda of many of our "freedom and liberty" right wing voters.
