I agree with that sentiment. There are plenty of military veterans suffering from various types of mental illness; depression, anxiety, PTSD, ect. A few clicks and a few reads from different studies shows the medical benefits of medical MJ towards those suffering. It's difficult to turn a blind eye on those facts.
Also, it's easy to see what recreational substances are more harmful. I enjoy beer/alcohol, but it definitely has a lot of medical downfalls. MJ, obviously not the best for you, has a lot less cons.
A lot of veterans out there playing that card for benefits too. I know a guy who wasn’t even in the same building as the Fort Hood shooter but claims PTSD from the incident. What a weak minded fool. I’m sure there are some who are truly suffering but it is a much smaller number than those claiming it.

I'm a little surprised it hasn't been legalized on the Federal level yet.
For the most part I don't care one way or the other. However, I would really, really like to see a reliable field sobriety test for THC (and other substances) that is at least as easy to use and reliable as a breathalyzer.

That is my biggest hang up on it. I haven't seen where there is a reliable way to measure the presence of it currently impacting the brain and nervous system and accurately assess whether impairment is present and to what degree. I haven't even heard of any real solutions on the horizon either.

It's right next to the one that says you can't.
No it isn’t. I guess you think you have the right to use cocaine and heroin as well? I mean freedom is freedom right? Maybe you should take a class and see how laws are enacted. We wouldn’t be having a vote if weed was legal now. So in the meantime, those who want it have to lie about their medical need for it. They also lie if they purchase a firearm and use weed. As I have said already, it’s a morality issue. Some people have none.

Well, it was legal for over a century here in the United States - the Founders didn't try to limit what people put into their own bodies.

Maybe just weak minded folks with no willpower want the government to keep the bad things away?

Im to the point that I dont care what a person wants to put in their body.
As long as it isnt costing me money I dont care. If there are programs out there like that costing me money they need to go away.

Maybe reserve jails for petty criminals and junkies and feed serious career criminals murderers and rapist to the sharks.

Really surprised to see all the cheech & chonger's on here that apparently falsify their 4473 forms!

What's even funnier is to see all the Rhinos cherry pick their outrage under the guise of "morality" and call for the government to legislate said "morality."

The compartmentalized outrage that weed brings is one of the strangest and hypocritical things you see from those that claim to be on the "right." Some of y'all straight up turn to behavior that would make most modern day democrats blush with envy.

Maybe. Or maybe it’s the weak minded that need other substances to get them thru their pathetic lives. I suppose you favor no laws whatsoever? In any case, your posts indicate the level of idiocy in which you live. I’m sure you just entertain yourself with the absurdity. Welcome to the ignored list.
