RE: ATF 4473's question 21.g: "Are you an unlawful user of, or addicted to, marijuana or any depressant, stimulant, narcotic drug, or any other controlled substance? Warning: The use or possession of marijuana remains unlawful under Federal law regardless of whether it has been legalized or decriminalized for medicinal or recreational purposes in the state where you reside." In this context, do the feds make a distinction between edibles vs smoking, whether recreational or medicinal? I'm in my 80's with some long term heart problems requiring blood thinners and related meds. I've never been a user of any kind of MJ and have zero interest in "weed", but would dearly love to be able to nibble a cookie, a chunk of brownie, or some similar small "infused" snack before bedtime to help me sleep. The way I read Question 21.g, a person cannot answer "NO" and buy a gun if they have a medical MJ license (and actually use it).
