I see a lot of people (both on and off this forum) who recognize it for what it is, proof that absolute power corrupts absolutely. This is everything wrong with our society rolled into one bitter nut. With all the things the bureaucratic state ignores or outright permits that it shouldn’t, it had 10 agents run roughshod over a couple for several hours, all so they could murder two harmless pets that meant so much to them.
