Grand Canyon - North Rim

We went to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon yesterday with a couple that are co-hosts with us here at the RV park. In the past, they have even worked at the North Rim, so they know a lot about the best features at the North Rim. According to them, the North Rim is much more rugged and has a lot more trees than the South Rim, but at any rate, it was beautiful yesterday, although pretty hazy. However, we will probably go there several times over the next year, so I'm sure we'll see better conditions for photography.

I'm still considering what photos to upload to my Smugmug account and thus likely to the forums, but here are a couple of teasers.





Primarily, I was using a Nikon D700 with the Nikkor 28-300mm zoom lens and the Nikkor 14-24mm f/2.8 wide angle lens on this trip.

I've been twice but one don't count. I was very young and didn't appreciate it. I made up the next trip and want to go back as a bucket thing.

Amen to that statement. With a number of my photographs, I was using a wide angle lens, and that doesn't even give the Canyon justice.
