Aren't we all so glad that we have the tree hugger libs to lead us "Forward" into the future with CFLs that contain mercury/cause cancer, E15 fuel that will destroy our engines/cars, wind turbine companies that go belly up at about $.25 to $.5 billion a pop, etc., etc., etc.:pissed::mad::madbox::rotflmao::rollingla

My Wifey has LUPUS and is very sensitive to sunlight.
I added these kinds of bulbs in the ceiling fans around the house.
After a short time she started feeling like she had been in the sun, achy, flu-like symptoms.
I was reading on the internet and found an article like this one.
Changed the bulbs and a couple days she was feeling better.
I'll only use them outside.
And the Mercury just doesnt sound like a good idea to be around.

The mercury is only an issue if you break the lightbulb then handle what comes out of it. Mercury cannot penetrate glass.

The UV issue is very concerning, though. Would like to see data on how much and of what wavelengths.

You forgot the 14,000 abandoned wind turbines around the country and the many thousands of birds killed by working wind turbines every year. Strangely enough the wind companies do not get heavy fines for this like the oil companies do.

Do you have a source for that info? I'd love to know the story behind it.
