I've read these are effective and inexpensive to build/operate even in colder climates. I wonder how well one would work for imported Colorado/California produce seeds.

Neat construction. Really have to be aware of the water table in the area you want to use this. I'd like to try it, but have no place suitable. Jim

Great asset if you have an area that is dry enough. I would just be digging a pond here.

"Water is more dense than rock" Really. On my place the rocks tend to sink when thrown in the pond.
