Grips (J-frame and 1911)

Do any of you happen to have an extra set or two of grips that are preferably kinda rough lying around?

I had a buddy from another forum send me some Eastern Diamondback skin the other day and I thought it would be neat to try to cover some stocks.

I'll pay for them, it's no big deal... but all the ones online are nice grips, and of course, they are expensive.

I don't mean for this thread to be a classified thread... but rather asking for help on a project.
