So far they (gunbroker) has not been charging me sales tax on purchases. I think for now it is just certain states that are subject to the sales tax.

Make sure it is from a reputable seller, otherwise there may be risks. Years back I made a purchase from someone with 1000 ish positive reviews and dude just took my money and disappeared. GB covered about half of my loss with their insurance but it was a hassle.

Thanks all. I’m out of the market now. I picked up what I was looking for. GB prices were getting crazy anyway. The rifles I looked at were being sold at a premium to MSRP. That didn’t count shipping and FFL fees. I thought bolt action rifles would not be sold at “panic” prices on GB, but indeed they are.
