Gun Buy Back Plans

Here is my idea. Lets all pool our money together and head to the East Coast. We'll organize our own buy back program. We'll give say $100.00 Walmart gift cards for AR's ($75 for AK's)! Bring them back to Oklahoma and clean house. Shortage and gouging OVER!

I was actually wondering the legallity of just doing a gun buy-back here in Oklahoma with citizens instead of police. It probably wouldn't net too many guns being Oklahoma, but it'd be cheaper than driving to Cali.

I saw an article about a guy in Texas that has a gun "disposal" service.

He gets little old ladies to give up their dead husbands guns for free just to get the out of the house. Then he keeps them or sells them. Great idea!

I was just talking about this today with another member.

If I recall, someone tried this a few years ago. Set up a table in the same parking lot as the cops. Instead of gift cards and groceries, he offered cash.

IIRC, the cops were POed and had the property owner tell the guy to leave. He argued that it was an outdoor venue with public access. They argued that the property owner asked him to leave so he was going to get tossed for trespassing if he didn't leave.
