Gun Range for training

East of town? OKC Gun Club is out because it’s members only....

You might see if Paul Abel is still doing his thing in Shawnee. He might let you “train” there.

...or Wes Elliot of Practical Shooting in McCloud. Not sure if he still has a range.

If it’s job related, can’t you lobby your employer for more range time?

The only time I ever went to Pink Oklahoma was to take a class at someone’s private range that had a metal building with a classroom and a shooting stall. Was that your place by chance? That was a great setup.

We only go to the ocpd police gun range only a few times a year. (Unaffiliated with OCPD)
Ever since i shut down my range out in Pink, Ok my co-workers are always asking about places to shoot east of the city. The only outdoor places other than my old range and the old thunderbird range that might possibly accommodate us would be TriCity and the OKC Gun Club. I'm not sure if any of the guys have NRA memberships or are even keen on getting a club membership. I guess I can start asking favors from the other range owners.

How would you get favors from the other range owners?
If the rest of your cadre doesn't want nor are interested in a club membership, much less joining the NRA which a lot of clubs require to gain NRA grants for projects, ammo for NRA sanctioned matches, etc, how would you expect any range to allow your group on the premises?
There is a smell on this thread that I can't get out of my nose.........
