<blockquote data-quote="aarondhgraham" data-source="post: 4375949" data-attributes="member: 13337"><p>Just to clarify my anti-Gundy stance,,,</p><p>It has nothing at all to do with his coaching.</p><p></p><p>I'm not really much of a sports fan anyways,,,</p><p>And couldn't tell you his record if asked.</p><p></p><p>It has to do with the fact that every time I've had any dealings with him,,,</p><p>He's proven himself to be an arrogant, narcissistic, arse-hole.</p><p></p><p>He used to do a live broadcast from Joseppi's Italian eatery in Stillwater,,,</p><p>His crew set up at a table in a corner of the bar area.</p><p></p><p>I was there one evening when he was broadcasting,,,</p><p>There was a 6-7 year old girl wearing an OSU cheerleader outfit,,,</p><p>She was waiting there with a game program in hopes of getting an autograph.</p><p></p><p>Her grandfather was there with her assisting her in her wait,,,</p><p>She was very excited as could be seen in her demeanor,,,</p><p>But she had waited very politely for many minutes.</p><p></p><p>When Gundy got up to leave the table her grandfather nudged her forward,,,</p><p>Gundy didn't actually stiff-arm the girl but he did put his arm out,,,</p><p>Then quickly side-stepped her and headed for the door.</p><p></p><p>I was astounded by his action,,,</p><p>She had been waiting there for at least 10 minutes,,,</p><p>There's no way in creation that Gundy couldn't have noticed her.</p><p></p><p>But rather than take a moment to sign a young fan's program,,,</p><p>He just left her standing there as he hurried out the door.</p><p></p><p>My friend was getting up to chase him down but the grandfather beat her to it,,,</p><p>Which was probably a good thing as my friend was a 225 lb. woman,,,</p><p>With a bad temper and no social inhibitions whatsoever.</p><p></p><p>The old man was right behind Gundy and caught him in the parking lot,,,</p><p>There was lots of shouting and hand waving but no fight.</p><p></p><p>My money was on the old man who was physically quite large,,,</p><p>Gundy did finally deign to sign the program,,,</p><p>Then the old man did something amazing.</p><p></p><p>He wadded it up and threw it back in Gundy's face.</p><p></p><p>When he came back into the restaurant,,,</p><p>He was greeted with loud clapping.</p><p></p><p>That is just one of the three times I personally witnessed him being an entitled jerk.</p><p></p><p>Aarond</p><p></p><p>.</p></blockquote><p></p>
