Only gun i regret selling so far is a S&W model 66-3, I'll be looking to buy another 4" K frame 357magnum to replace it at the gun show in April. either a model 19 or 66. I did slightly regret selling a second gen Glock 19 but am happy with my M&P 9c as my daily carry gun.
I feel your pain and regret

The one I regret most was a beautiful 1897 Winchester with a solid frame and a 26" full choke. I bought it when I turned 18 up in Iowa and kept it for several years before I sold it at a gun show. I bought it back at another gun show a few years later from the man I sold it to for the same price I sold it for. Kept it for almost 20 years and sold it at a gun show here in OKC a couple of years ago to buy Christmas presents for the four kids. I would really like to buy it back if anyone knows where it is.

Going to sound odd but it's a Rossi .357 revo with a 3 inch ported barrel. Regretted it the moment I sold it 20 years ago and now can't remember who I sold it to. I just remember they needed a pistol and had very little money so I let it go for half what I paid for it to help someone out.

Tow to be exact. First, a 6" S&W 586 Silhouette with the 4 position front sight. They're so hard to find, I can't even locate a decent pic of one on the internet, so this is the 686 version:

Second, a Browning Buckmark Silhouette with a 4X Leupold pistol scope.

Mine had sling studs for a sling (there's room on the bottom of the grip in the front of the magazine to drill & tap for a stud) and a Harris bipod.

Why did I sell them? Stupidest reason in the world. Both of them were so accurate, they became boring and monotonous to shoot. Seriously, when every shot seems to hit the mark, the challenge is missing. I've had 20+ more handguns since these and I miss that monotony now! :(

A (German) .380 Walther PPK/S and a Marlin 1894 44mag to a guy I was working for that just had to have them back in 1982. The Marlin was an amazingly accurate rifle. Had a Williams Receiver sight on it.

An open bolt .380 MAC11 ... an absolute POS but just stupid fun to shoot.

A 6" K22 S&W revolver back in 1984 to get a S&W M41.

Single Action Colt in 44 Special. A year or so ago I bought a Taylors and Company "Smoke Wagon" in 45 Colt and in all honesty, is as good or better. Just that the Colt was a Colt.

A S&W 629DX that I sold to some guy here a few years ago. The most insanely accurate handgun I have ever owned BUT it locked up on my twice. While S&W fixed it I never could trust that gun.
