I suppose the thought is the head shot has less suffering maybe, I do not know.It does seem most choose a headshot.I know from experience in Hunting, a clean Head shot to the middle of the brain area stops em in there tracks with no flopping. A heart shot can linger on for a while with a lot of flight characteristics. After working on a Commercial Hog Farm for three years back in the day, we killed lame paralyzed sow's daily, they would be down for weeks while trying to nurse them back. If you misplaced the Stun Gun shot to the head they would swing their legs like a Quarter Horse in a Race. Needless to say I learned the sweet spot on a Hog. After a while I never had one flop. With a Rifle you can get by with a shot between the eyes, it penetrates to the brain stem, Stun Gun you only have about a two inch penetration, you have to hit a few inches above the eyes above the nasal cavity.
