Got pulled over in Pennsylvania doin 120 on a lovely Sunday morning. I topped a rise, saw the trooper at the very bottom of the hill and went for the brakes. Unfortunately there was a dip just the other side of the hill crest, so my adjusted speed made me lay smoke when I touch down again. Smokey didn't even have to come after me. I pulled over right in front of him. He gets me in the front seat of his car, and casually asks me (while running license) how fast were you going before I clicked you at 80? I answered honestly, and pointed out that we were the only cars on the road, the weather was perfect, and my 92' regal could handle that speed...and my skills were up to par as well. He admitted that he watched the way I handled that little misstep over the dip, and agreed that I probably did have the necessary skills, and the car could certainly handle it. Just slow down son.....Yessir!
