I was incredibly mad at first due to being next in line for promotion, but, after 9 months of being unemployed, I sucked it up, did some self-evaluation and decided to learn what I could from the situation. I applied back to the same company, took a lower paying job, and have busted my butt since then. I am now making considerably more than when I got laid off, have gotten several awards for performance, and many more opportunities presented to me. Major kudos to my wife for sticking by me through everything and actually marrying me while I was laid off.</p></blockquote><p></p>
