Message: <blockquote data-quote="nmokie" data-source="post: 1331439" data-attributes="member: 7429"><p>I think the point being made isn't why there arn't shows like this anymore but why wont' a show like be watched today.  I believe reality TV and the fact that parents don't spank their kids have a lot to do with it.  I have been blessed with four great kids.  I spanked them when they needed it and they still call adults Mr and Mrs until told otherwise, even the two in their 20s.  No magic formula, just being involved with your kids and knowing who they hang out with.  Not a perfect family by far, but from the people I see on TV I am really blessed.</p></blockquote><p></p>
