Update. I found out by reading the book pstmstr loaned me (thanks Mike) that there are balancing differences between the Yamaha's I used to ride and this Harley. With the Yamaha's I rode, the foot pegs and controls were near the center of the bike. With the Harley, there are foot boards and the controls are forward of where I'm used to them being. That puts my legs and feet in a different position which changes the way the bike handles for me. I have to learn to adapt to the new center of gravity. Progress through education.
