This is one heck of a rifle!! FAL doesn't get much better and has nice optics too. Price is very good

Except for the scope, I had one just like that when I was 19 (in 1997), I bought it from my then girlfriend's uncle for $600. I didn't know anything about the FAL, I only shot it once and decided I didn't like it and sold it back to him for $600. Biggest gun mistake I ever made.

I love the FAL, but have never warmed up to the Israeli handguards.
