I noticed that when I move the turn signal handle the one or the other brake light would turn on. If I find the perfect spot moving the turn signal/tilt handle both brake lights will come on. I think it’s in the turn signal canceling cam. It has two metal wires that make contact at different times. I don’t understand how it works. I bent the wires around and there was some improvement in the brake lights both coming on but it still has to be in the right spot or they both won’t come on. Anyone familiar with the system? There are four contacts the wires make contact with. This thing is driving me crazy. Pic is of a new canceling cam so you can see the metal wires on the back that contact the raised points on the turn signal switch body.
