Good advice. As for the 17L or 34...I'm not a huge fan of the long slide Glocks nor the 9mm cartridge. Granted, the 9mm has been revamped and improved technologicaly, and can probably hold it's own and perform satisfactorily for SD, I just want a big ol' honkin' .45ACP. The cartridge God created. Plus, I already own two 9mm Glocks, I don't really need another. Unless an FDE Glock 45 crosses my path... :w000t: As for the caliber of the AR...like the .45ACP, I just prefer a 30 caliber cartridge over a 22 caliber. I could go 7.62x39, but does it perform any better than the .300 Blackout? The only advantage I see in the 7.62x39 over the .300 Blackout is the price of the ammo. I'm not a long distance shooter.
