A lot of optics companies sell their 300bo BDC reticles as being able to be used with x39. Both rounds are good within 400yards too. I keep my hunting shots within 200 yards though. Both cartridges work great out of short barrels, and how I see it, you have two choices: suppressed, or cheap? If you want suppressed, go with 300bo. If you want cheap, go x39. $.28 for soft point ammo kinda speaks for itself. I can go to the range and let loose a few hundred rounds without wanting to cry. It also opens up other avenues of spending money, like buying a x39 bolt gun that you can shoot cheap too. Works great for hogs as well.</p><p>[/QUOTE]</p>
