The trigger guard latch clips and unclips fairly easily; this is the problem. I called Ruger and was told that it can be a fairly common problem. The man I spoke w/ said that the trigger guard needs to be adjusted (by slightly bending) to tighten up the latch - he explained how to do this. Last night as I was laying in bed thinking about it I had somewhat come to the same conclusion, but still wanted to talk w/ Ruger first. The man I spoke w/ was friendly and helpful; he explained that though Ruger offers no warranties they do everything possible to standby their products and make wrongs right.
