I had checked with some riding mower forums and got the craziest bunch of advice you can believe. I had that mower flipped up on both sides and the front shroud off trying to get to the brake linkage, all from directions from the web. None of that worked. I am busy tomorrow but Tuesday after my doc appointment I jack up the back and pull the rear wheels to follow the next set of directions.  <img src="/images/smilies/tongue.png"  class="smilie" loading="lazy" alt=":P" title="Stick Out Tongue    :P" data-shortname=":P" /></p></blockquote><p></p>
