Went adventuring a bit yesterday on the way back from tulsa, and on the way to see keystone lake I stumbled upon heyburn WMA and lake. Anyone ever spent any time here?

I like it because it seems out of the way and small enough that it isn't a terribly popular area. My buddy and I are really wanting to find some places to go hunting, and heyburn seems like a winner.

I've bow and rifle hunted deer there. During bow season it is quiet. During rifle I try to find the muddiest road possible to get down so no one is around. If it is dry, there isn't anywhere to pull off to without having 100 vehicles there.

Hmmmm that's mildly depressing. But bow is one thing that I'm very interested in starting.

Also predator (mostly coyote) and hog hunting. Which I've read into a little and heyburn sounds promising.
