They just use a green laser diode instead of red. Green costs a little more and as a pointer, is easier to see. As an image, not so much. It's good if you want to say you have a green reticle or biohazard. The green is also kinda cheap Chicom looking anyway, so nah, it's not worth the extra cost.

Never tested it on a red dot optic so I can't say it would apply but red is the most difficult color to see in the dark. Just something to consider on a self defense weapon.

Well, this little sight has stacked a lot of bodies over the years and still does, with its 65MOA red reticle and all -- day and night.
