I love plumbers as much as the next person, but the money I have in my pocket I had other plans for so ... I go to the trusty-dusty wwwdot and lo and behold ... It "may" be possible to unclog a toilet without a plunger ... <img src="/images/smilies/new/w000t.gif"  class="smilie" loading="lazy" alt=":w000t:" title="W000t    :w000t:" data-shortname=":w000t:" /> (Yes, we have a plunger. No, I'm not very good at using said plunger because I do not plug the toilet up ... <img src="/images/smilies/bah.gif"  class="smilie" loading="lazy" alt=":bah:" title="Bah    :bah:" data-shortname=":bah:" />)So ... I do like the trusty builder guy in the video tells me and pour an "ample" amount of dishsoap down into the toilet bowl. Sure enough, it sinks to the bottom just like he says it will, thinking to myself "Well, if it spills over the top at least I'll have clean, soapy water to work with ... "And then I let it set for 30 minutes (the guy in the video said "20 minutes", but I'm an over-achiever). Then I pour a pitcher of hot water into the bowl (just like video guy has told me to). <img src="/images/smilies/new/w000t.gif"  class="smilie" loading="lazy" alt=":w000t:" title="W000t    :w000t:" data-shortname=":w000t:" /><img src="/images/smilies/new/w000t.gif"  class="smilie" loading="lazy" alt=":w000t:" title="W000t    :w000t:" data-shortname=":w000t:" /><img src="/images/smilies/new/w000t.gif"  class="smilie" loading="lazy" alt=":w000t:" title="W000t    :w000t:" data-shortname=":w000t:" /> It WORKED!! (Thank God and the trusty builder video guy!)
