I have another question about this. Once you add an item to the trust, how does that affect the other items on the trust paperwork with the ATF. For example, I have 1 suppressor on my trust. I'm going to add another one to the trust. Do I have to do anything to update the trust paperwork with the ATF for the first suppressor, since the trust will now list 2 items?
I'm under the impression they shred your trust documents after your transfer is complete. (not saying this is what actually happens) I can't imagine the amount of file storage it would take to keep a copy of the trust for every approved form 1/4.
There is nothing you need to do other than submit the trust with the application for the second item. If you add non NFA items you don't have to do anything. The trust isn't for the ATF, it is for your estate.
