Actually, I do have a problem wth gun snobs. GTG and I had a "little" discussion on this awhile back. He gets around a whole lot more than I do in the shooting community overall, and he had a really good explanation of a "snob". Some of you have touched on parts of it, but Jerry put all the dots together. I've read about the snobs, but have never really had experience around our club, or the diciplines that I shoot in. Yeah, some say the Benelli's are the only three gun shotgun period, and they are awesome shotguns, expecially when modified by old yeller, but others are coming along like the CZ's, and recently the Remington Versa Max Tactical that has reduced 12 ga recoil to that of a 20 for those that are recoil sensitive. I Love the 1911 platform, and shoot it in compeition, as well as a stryker fired gun. Even on this forum as well as others, I see folks saying the Rem 1100 is the greatest shotgun ever built. If one looks at the numbers produced, thats probably a true statement for a semi auto. Other shotguns have proven to be more reliable in competitions, (Benelli), but as we all know, competition breeds innovation, and new guns coming out show these improvements. Its like NASCAR. Race proven innovations, soon show up in street cars.
