WAGONER COUNTY, Okla. - More than 800 homes in Wagoner County were still without power Monday afternoon.

The Lake Region Electric Cooperative (LREC) has more than 150 personnel working on restoring electricity throughout five counties, including Wagoner.

After Thursday's storm, more than 19,000 LREC customers, of 24,000 they serve, lost power.

Two weeks once during a snow storm when I was a kid. But usually only for a day or two. Its no big deal to loose power for a few hours several times a year. But the only neighbor I have works for our electric company and if my power is off his is also. Needless to say, he gets his back on asap. I have a welder ready to power my entire house if at any point I have to have it.

watch out for power out of welders which are typically dirty power that potentially could hurt sensitive electronics.
