I'll admit that I used to be total @#$%faced drunk back in the day. To the point where I almost ruined my relationship with my son. We have since mended those fences and I am so grateful for that. It wasn't a quick fix; it took several years to come to terms. Mended fences help a lost soul.

Just a seasonal reminder.

988 if you need someone to talk to.

Medications you might want to discuss with your healthcare provider if you suspect you might be bipolar.

I've learned from this board that stuff like 988 is what sissies and libtards use to talk about their feelings instead of being men and sucking it up until they blow their brains out like the generations before them. Also, can't take the meds. That's a big pharma conspiracy like the vax. Turns you into a gay frog or something, I dunno, I just saw something on youtube.

(To be clear this is a fairly wry bit of sarcasm here).

After what Bob said to me earlier I thought you were calling me out! 🤣🤣🤣

Yes, guys, there is no shame in talking to someone. If you don't want to call some random hotline (a lot of folks are afraid that will trigger a wellness check from the cops ... Or worse, an involuntary hospital stay) then message me. I do not have any answers, trust me, but I do have a sympathetic ear and I will never tell a soul. 😘

She's right. I cry on her shoulder all the time. :cry3:

Same goes for me. If anybody needs to talk something out, I'm usually always around.

Yeah ... Lol ... But I can vouch for this o' crybaby. He has broad shoulders and big ears! I sure hope I never make him mad. He knows more of my secrets by now than I can even remember ... 🥰🥰🥰

I wasn't a very good person 20 years ago. This place actually brought me therapy and healing and helped me get back to myself but better.
Same. Signed up after lurking for a bit in a low point in my 20s. I was super depressed after my bestie offed himself with one of my guns. I isolated for years from friends and family, y'all sort of filled that roll in a way I perceived to have control over interaction/frequency/etc... Typical depression I lashed out sometimes, took jokes too far, got a little too personal, and that me likely earned his way onto many deserved ignore lists. Thirteen years later, I cringe when I remember old me, and wonder how members like Rick and Hoddy always managed to be kind even when I was at my most vicious. Call it the light that helped me out of the dark. RX's too, but as mom always said "garbage in, garbage out," I imagine their examples helped lead the way.
