Same. Signed up after lurking for a bit in a low point in my 20s. I was super depressed after my bestie offed himself with one of my guns. I isolated for years from friends and family, y'all sort of filled that roll in a way I perceived to have control over interaction/frequency/etc... Typical depression I lashed out sometimes, took jokes too far, got a little too personal, and that me likely earned his way onto many deserved ignore lists. Thirteen years later, I cringe when I remember old me, and wonder how members like Rick and Hoddy always managed to be kind even when I was at my most vicious. Call it the light that helped me out of the dark. RX's too, but as mom always said "garbage in, garbage out," I imagine their examples helped lead the way.

You're an OG now buddy. You're stuck with us whether you like it or not.

Over the years I have had the pleasure of meeting many of the folks here. Some great conversations. I have seen times when someone needed a bit of help, and there has always been immediate response from others with offers to lend a hand. Good folks here....

Most men are bi-polar......pre and post testosterone decline.....angry short fuse vs analyze the situation and respond accordingly fuse.....


Most women on the other hand are tri or quad polar, just depends on if you want to divide the 24 hour day by 8 hour or 6 hour increments.......

This is a great thread guys and gals. I think many come here because even if they haven’t met a particular person, they feel they know them. I’ve met dozens if not a hundred or so. Many of us text back and forth about many subjects beyond the forum.

I've met dozens from here also, hunted with many, bought and sold items to many and have never had an issue or concern with any. I'm in one particular group text with four other OSA guys scattered across the state that's been going on for 12-15y now iirc. I tend to stay away from the Tulsa folks in general though......
