Without being privy to their private relationship over the past 45 years I don't know that I could do anything but to convict him if it were proven beyond all reasonable doubt that he shot his wife. Sorry it's just my nature I don't trust people. I fully intend to do everything I possibly can not to be a burden on my wife, but I will not commit suicide, if I do that life insurance doesn't pay off, and I figure she deserves some bonus cash for being so good to miserable piece of **** like me. How miserable is that you want to end it peacefully and on your own terms if you become terminal but if you do the insurance won't pay off. Insurance is truly the merciless scum sucking scourge on humanities existence even worse than lawyers. Lie there and die slowly painfully and miserably, while insurance covers just enough of the cost to keep your family from losing everything yet still bankrupts them. I don't think I could do that to my wife, not without then turning the gun on myself and eating a bullet. I can't imagine what my life would be like without her.
