I have not shot in a long time I bugged out this morning to Lexington and had the range to myself.
I shot my AR and .223 Axis and my .308.
I love the short 18" barrel on the Savage .308 10PT-SR.
It is just not that finicky when it comes to loads.
Or maybe the loads I feed it are in an accuracy node.

All groups were shot as quick as I could get back on target.
Center group was first then 100 yard walk and shot the upper left. then the upper right.
I then walked 100 yards again and let the gun cool in the 88 degree heat. did not cool much.
I shot the lower right and then proceeded to make empty brass in the lower left corner with 9 shots in there.
Barrel was warmed up but held it's position quite well.
The 9 rounds in the lower left were mixed cases some stiff seating some easy seating when seating the bullet and when chambering them in the gun. Built them march 2017.

Had fun no matter what.
Here is the .308 target. Oh these are my hunting loads or were, now just empty cases.
