Message: <blockquote data-quote="Perplexed" data-source="post: 1970900" data-attributes="member: 7157"><p>The problem is that Oklahoma is making the transition overnight from a non-open-carry state to an open-carry state; I think most of the folks here are expressing concern about individuals who go about on Nov. 1 with heat openly carried on the hip will needlessly polarize folks who might otherwise be neutral on the issue.  I'm in favor of the open carry law in the sense that I can now carry concealed without worrying about printing or accidentally exposing my firearm, and I think many folks in OK would be fine with that. Baby steps work better than getting up into people's grills where the open-carry law is concerned.</p></blockquote><p></p>
