I swore (several times as a matter of fact) during that little adventure that I would NEVER attempt to do any kind of home improvement or repair project with my darling husband EVER again.</p><p></p><p>I grew up in a house where when things got difficult, whether you were replacing a water faucet or doing surgery on a dog that had been crushed by a car, that the more difficult things got the quieter and more focused you became until you solved whatever issue was vexing you.
