Message: <blockquote data-quote="TerryMiller" data-source="post: 3837399" data-attributes="member: 7900"><p>When our son bought a "new to him" home, we helped him get new flooring, painting, etc.  The big job given to me was to get down on the floor and remove the baseboard throughout the rooms getting new flooring.  After a bit of having issues with getting back up, I went out to our vehicle and opened the tub of tools and stuff I keep there.  I removed the short step-stool that I always carry (roughly 7 or 8 inches high) and took it back inside.  From that point, I made sure that step-stool was in the same room that I was.  Just that short distance to get my hands on made a world of difference with getting up.</p></blockquote><p></p>
