The cloud expands and contracts depending on your bandwidth, you pay a variable rate depending on resources used. 100 users doesn’t equal 10,000 users. Software is a vauge I assume that’s monitoring software and not the Server 2012 or any web software, even if it’s shareware and free, hit a bug no support unless you want the hourly rate and trying to argue it’s a shareware bug😢 Whats the SLA say must be hourly maybe a response in 4 hours @Support Dev, there’s so many variations to contracts. I work huge systems in my day. Now my son that actually manages the major hosting in Oklahoma could tell me more on a basic client. They must escort them onsite and they do help, in fact he trains a lot of so called self host as most of them are admins that have specific knowledge, no one knows everything or the topology as they argue its software, no it’s hardware, network, or someone from your site had too many right and hosed your system….I’ve seen it all. Seen many 36 hour days, the worst was an SAP system connecting to a backend repository using SunJava 9. Came in for an upgrade Friday at 5 AM thought we had it transferred from Tulsa to the Chicago hosting site Sunday as it 😞 failed, left Monday at noon. Over 200 hours in two weeks, I was half crazy but very alert while about dying….. that was interesting and BS all at once. Much worse that the than even my artic deployments.
