...but it has. :cry3:

Lately, the gout/arthritis in my wrists has gotten so terrible, that I can't operate the slide of a semi-auto pistol.

Therefore, I'm putting my beloved Glock 43X on the market.

It's been my constant companion both on and off duty for the past year or so, but it's condition does not reflect that. It still looks new.

Included is the original box/case, three factory 10 rd mags, three holsters (Desantis, Galco & Safariland) and the pistol wears a set of Glock factory/OEM night sights. I also have a couple of mag pouches.

$500 for everything OR trade for a Ruger 2 inch LCR in .38 special.

:thanku:

Wish I could help with the sale, but I'll at least jump in and offer a slight (maybe off topic) suggestion. If you've not considered an optics setup, it may be worth considering that getting one with a quality optic on it, allows much easier slide manipulation and the ability to barrier rack/clear the slide which is easier on the hands.

I thought about that, but I would still hafta sell this pistol then buy one that is OR and then buy an optic. Besides, it's not so much my hands as it is my wrists.

I'd rather just trade for a little snubbie. I cut my teeth on the revolver and it'll do everything I need a gun to do.

Before you give up try this. A neighbor gave me some and believe it or not, IT WORKS. Im no starry eyed hippie who squeals "Pot heals everything, including cancer, and it will let you talk to Jesus." (It may but I wouldnt know, dont even use weed) but this stuff has really helpd with arthritis in my shoulders and knee..and neck. You need a medical permit to get it, or a friend with one but its worth the effort.

OP, is it pain or strength?
With regard to the above post, I have started using a CBD the DOES in fact make my hands feel better!

Joe

It's both and it's mainly in my wrists. I just can't grasp the slide enough to work it. I even tried the ol push/pull method where you grab the slide with your left and shove the grip forward with you right. I just don't have the strength to do that anymore.
